The General English course is designed to develop autonomous learning through student-centred activities with a focus on task-based learning and communicative competence. It effectively integrates the four macro- skills, which optimises the possibility of a student reaching their learning potential. By the end of the course, students will be able to use their English more confidently and with greater fluency. The Elementary level is a 12 week, 20 hours 4 days per week, and 5 hours per day level. The core part of the level is the first three and a half hours. Students will use the prescribed textbook, ‘Cutting Edge Upper-Intermediate Third Edition’ along with supplementary learning materials as directed by the class teacher.
